This event is for women who find themselves at a crossroads, such as their youngest child going to kindergarten or college, going back to work or retiring, or anyone who is struggling to find what to do "next." We will share brunch and have a speaker, followed by a discussion with our table groups. We hope to see you there! **REGISTRATION: https://kingwoodmethodist.org/events/

Community Night of Prayer and Worship April 28th from 5-6:30pm Join Kingwood area churches as we unite to pray for our community at Woodbridge Baptist. Doors will open at 5:00pm. When we lift up each other's praises and requests before the Lord, we find an unparalleled sense of unity between God and us. This is why praying for and with each other is so important! It's not just a nice thing to do for someone; it is a vital part of growing in our own faith while encouraging others along the way.

- April MMO: UM ARMY

This summer youth mission trip has been a longstanding staple in our missional identity. UM ARMY and Flipt are where the seeds of missions are planted in many of our students’ hearts. These weeks focus on sharing the love of Jesus by serving those identified as having a significant need. These teams build wheelchair ramps, fix porches, and share their faith, leaving a lasting physical and spiritual impact on the clients.

This year’s UM ARMY trip will be to Athens from June 16th to 22nd. We are asking for financial support to help send these kids to camp and for you to step in and volunteer to make it happen.

CURRENT STUDY-  The Book of Philippians by Jo Saxton

https://app.rightnowmedia.org/en/content/details/368582

The life Jesus invites us into when we follow him is one of sacrifice. But does sacrificial living mean the Christian life should be riddled with sorrow? Paul answers that question in his letter to the Philippians with a resounding NO! Paul, and the Philippians with him, lived joyfully in the midst of persecution, prison, and poverty. In this eight-session series, Jo Saxton takes us through Philippians to encourage us to follow Jesus no matter what life throws at us. Through Paul's words and example, learn how joy and sacrifice can go hand-in-hand.

Volunteers lead the discussions during the summer and give our four teachers time off to enjoy the class discussions. Let Kerry Hamilton know if you would be willing to facilitate a discussion during the summer.  Contact Kerry at kerrysnotebook@gmail.com 713-306-0319
